This mattress is quite magnificent. The overall luxurious feel includes a spring system which is pocket sprung. Because the springs are not joined they work independently to support the entire body from head to toe, and also give the benefit of no “roll together”. On top of the springs are thick layers of upholstery, topped by a layer of visco elastic memory foam. Memory foam in a mattress has been shown to reduce contact pressure with the body and give relief from muscle and joint pains. It also reduces the amount of tossing and turning to give a more restful night. This mattress is non turn for easy care.
